Firing Process

Clay is very fragile until it is fired under extremely hot temperatures, which happens in a kiln. This is a specially built oven for clay firing. When you purchase a Creators Kit, you will have the choice to return your creation/s to Inglewood or Attadale drop off points for firing. Write your name and preferred contact on the provided Fire me up voucher included in your box.

Procedure: Dry your pieces thoroughly, usually 1-2 weeks, depending on daytime temperatures. Apply glaze decorations. Carefully stabilise in Clay Habit box and return to be fired.
